Most Portuguese on YouTube is Brazilian. These are YouTube channels to learn European Portuguese, and every one of them speaks the Portuguese of Portugal. We opened each one, checked when the last video came out and what accent the speakers use, and picked one video to start with. Where we could not confirm something, the entry says so.
The list starts with channels made to help you learn European Portuguese and ends with what people in Portugal watch at home. Pick the group that matches your level. If it feels too fast, go back one group.
💬 Subtitles help a lot. Click the gear icon under the video, then Subtitles/CC, and choose Portuguese. "Portuguese (auto-generated)" is written by YouTube's computer and gets some words wrong. A track called "Portuguese (Portugal)" was typed by the channel and is correct.
💡 How to learn from a video. Watch once with Portuguese subtitles. Then watch a short part again without them. Slow it down with the gear icon (Playback speed) if you need to.
If you would rather listen without a screen, see our European Portuguese podcasts by level. For films and series, see our Portuguese films and series.
