When do we use the present indicative?
The present indicative is used to describe actions or states that are habitual. It is similar to the present simple tense in English.
The present indicative is used to describe actions or states that are true now, or that are habitual. It is similar to the present simple tense in English. For example:
- 🔑 Eu esqueço-me sempre das chaves. (I always forget the keys.)
- 🌧️ Em Portugal chove muito. (In Portugal it rains a lot.)
- 🥅 Eu jogo futebol. (I play football.)
