Adultos
The word “adultos” can be a noun or an adjective. In this case, it is a noun, as it refers to all beings who have completed their development, as opposed to “children.” It is masculine plural because it applies to a group of both men and women.
It can also be an adjective that characterises something or someone that has a mature attitude, proper of a grown-up. For example, Portuguese public television has a channel called RTP2, which has an educational purpose and its slogan is “RTP2 - Culta e Adulta” (RTP2 - cultured and adult).
Crianças (children)
