Regular Conjugation

There are three groups of regular verbs, based on the last two letters of the infinitive form. Each group of regular verbs follows the same conjugation pattern.

Notice that the second (-er) and third (-ir) conjugations share the same pattern.

Irregular verbs

There are only four verbs that don’t follow regular conjugation patterns in the imperfect past.
