The imperative is used to give commands or suggestions and has different conjugations when addressing someone casually (tu) or formally (você). In this case, the command is given using formal addressing (você) so we form the imperative by using the first person (eu) of the present tense, and changing the ending.
- Verbs ending in -ar ➡ We replace the -o with an -e
- Verbs ending in -er or -ir ➡ We replace the -o with an -a
