Indirect Object Pronouns
Indirect object (complemento indireto)
The indirect object is the who upon which the verb “indirectly” acts.
For example:
- 📖 Eu dei um livro à Ana. (I gave a book to Ana.) If we ask the question “To whom was the book given?” the answer would be “à Ana” (to Ana), so Ana would be the indirect object of the verb.
