Getting Started: Setting the Scene
First impressions matter. In Portugal, it is common to greet with a polite ‘Bom dia’ (good morning) or ‘Boa tarde’ (good afternoon), followed by a handshake or a friendly nod.
You might also hear ‘Como está?’ (How are you?) as a warm greeting before diving into the interview.
